Took my wife, her 2 sisters Raja and Wafaa who is here on holidays from Lebanon, my sister Nahida and my son Mohammad for a fish in the Georges River....Wafaa and Nahida have never been fishing on a boat before...
We all had lots of fun in beautiful weather and water conditions.. . Wafaa caught a large Trevally and then caught a 65cm Kingie on very light tackle...she did a great job reeling it in....You should see the smile on her sun red face... my son Mohammad also caught his first Kingie, a whopping 75cm...also on light tackle...it took him 15 minutes to reel it in....lots of fun hearing the reel go zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....this was caught on light line that Christos got for me.....he also caught a lovely bream at 36cm...and some smaller ones....Raja also caught some bream, tailor and lost a massive flathead by the boat...bad luck there...Nahida caught her first ever fish...a bream....Raghda caught the most for the day....probably around 6 bream......Me well, i caught some too....but i was enjoying watching them have a good time....hopefully they will remember this day for a long time.....thanks for the trip..... Sorry forgot to identify who is who.......in the blue is my lovely wife Raghda...in the black is my sister-in-law Raja, in the brown is sister-in-law Wafaa from Lebanon, in the pink is my sister Nahida, and in the Everlast shirt is my son Mohammad...and you all know the good looking one me... Well done Majed and family,
Looks like some quality time spent with the family, and great weather to go with it. The young bloke will be hooked for life and the sister in laws will cherish the peace and lifestyle we guys sometimes take for granted. Top effort and thanks for sharing. Bafoo |

Bafoo Funny you should say that....the ladies said the same thing......now we know why you like to go fishing regularly... "its so enjoyable and relaxing" The young one was really rapped with the kingie and the big bream he caught...I also really enjoyed all of them having a good time....they were all smiles.... -------------------- FISHING beats Working

First post since you joined in January, Dylan and you bag out the size of those kings!!! Majed says they were 65cm and 75cm. To me, they look that. How do you get your opinion that they are FAR from legal??? Do you know something none of the rest of us know? Start off your posting with something constructive.

good session, those 2 kings are far from legal mate. Hard call to make, if there's one thing I've learnt with pics they are very decieving It all depends on how the pic is taken, the cluey anglers will thrust a fish forward to give it extra size I've fushed with Majed the Midget & he does get exited when a fish makes legal size He dosen't let anything legal swim away either I'm a velly goodarus judge of both weight & length of fish & have put up pics where size has been Q'd personally I dont give a shit wot others think they weren't there to see fish in person Wot I want to know maged just to clarify things Did ewe use an Ozzie or Lebanese measuring stick & do these sticks differ in size -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

Just have to put in my 2 cents worth:-
Dylan ... have you seen the size of the Majed? (Must be at least 8 feet tall) The pics may make the fish look small but trust me even at a "strange" angle ...I CAN TELL THEY ARE LEGAL. Now if I held them up you would say they were HUGE! GOOD FISHING THERE MAJED ......... Glad you had a great day! This post has been edited by Seafairy: May 28 2010, 02:40 PM |
