I have been thinking about getting a Lexerd - Standard Horizon CP180i TrueVue Anti-glare Fish Finder Radar Screen Protector for my sounder. Lots of times it gets salt crystals on it, and I sometimes wipe it without thinking, and it gets a cloudy film on the screen. It is o.k. when I wipe it again with a damp cloth with freshwater on it, but it must leave scratches.
The protectors are $US20 each plus postage, but if anyone else wants one, then hopefully the shipping cost will not change by much. Any interest or opinions? |

yeas I do too - when I get home. It is just when it gets covered in salt during fishing and gets hard to see. Just saves the screen getting abraded. I amm getting one anyhow, just thought if anyone else wanted one I would include it in the order.

Hmmmm. O.K. I get the message. Most people have film protectors on their phones and camera monitors. I would think that they get less potential scratches and hazing then a sounder screen would, but each to their own. I like a nice bright screen to look at, not a cloudy scratched one. Like the glad wrap idea though. Maybe I could wrap my sandwiches onto the side of the sounder at the same time......
