Heya's all.. Been a while since i done a report so thought Id throw this one up...
New Years day all had a few sore heads so we decided to wander down to the river for a bit of a carp-athon.. After wandering down the track and dodging the swinging spiders we arrived at a wide section of the river where the water is crystal clear and you can see the fish in the river.. A few carp were caught in an hour or so's fishin and The nerriga nut Pez caught the biggest, With Nerriga Nut Jr. Coming second and my Missus Nic coming in Third.. A few beers and a fun day followed off by jumping in to cool down.. On A recent visit to the viva factory I picked up a Viva Cap so decided to throw it in as first prize hoping one of the kids would win it.. But the big fella got it and cause we didnt want any whinging we had to hand it on... Might organise another soon if anyone wants a weekend away camping with a few beers and a bit of a laugh.. The Winner with his prize.. |

Wasnt any flat head around either, I guess the river is dry between manilla and nerriga...
Might have a chat to the fishing club down there and see if they interested in having a camp weekend and try and clear out some carp.. Recon viva would throw in a few hats or such as prize's?? Would anyone be interested in a camping weekend? |
