It's the Jed Jumpus and Jake show!

Well i got up this morning and started playing with my (fishing) tackle.. Got to lunch and decided to ring Jumpus to go for a fish.. All was good, so i hooked it up and my son Jake came along for the day. Got to Jumpy's around 2:30pm and wouldn't you know it, he was sleeping again... So by 3:30pm we were off.

Had my first go at driving off the trailer and it was a breeze. Out to spot 1 and we had undersize snapper everywhere. They started to get close to size.. Jake netted one 29.95mm so she went back in. Jumpy scored a couple of nice bream. Jake got his first feel of a Kingfish on light gear... The thing ran him around the boat.. When it was all said and done Jake said it nearly ripped his arms off This is the first time I have fished the day with bait runners and i enjoyed it. The wide gap hooks work a treat, i didnt have one gut hook all day.

Tried the flats for whiting in spot 2 for 0's but jake got a nice flatty.

Finished the day at spot 1, but the tide had slowed so the sweep had moved in.

Great day today.. Not one problem with the boat. Everything is working 100%.

Drove the boat onto the trailer... You cant miss it.. Great set up..

Highlight of the day; Jumpy had to drive the ute and i had Jake on my lap.. We get in the car when we are leaving to come home and Jake says "Jeez Angelo drive the car slow" Well i cracked up... He is a very observant 8yo

I wasn't doing Sleepies, I was hiding but the bastard just wouldn't go away so I had to come out cause my Boofy Woofys wouldn't stop barking @ the DUCK

How come ewe left out the best bit Bees ??????????????? the part where me & Jakeheld up signs that said

Cause we didn't want peeps to think we were associated with ewe

Here's wot happened peeps, twas getting late & sun was disappearing coming into the ramp, Bees turns on the nav lights & the strip LED's under the hard top.

Then he comments the goat looked like a Disco & all that was missing was a rotating mirror ball, his Barry Manillow CD playing in the background which he ejected & replaced with sum other CD
Bees's feet started to stray to the beat of Rick Dee's
Yes peeps the DUCK FLAKKA had transformed into the Disco DUCK

Jed - two against one attacking the duc- would have been funny to see Angelo and Jake do their impersonation of the duc flukka.
