Great work JG, hope it all goes fine for you till its done.
Just a quickie, for my rod holders I use my baitcaster on I had to drill a large hole in them to take the trigger grip on my rod, do the rods that will be going in them have triggers on them? -------------------- AAAAHhhhhhhh, I just wanna fish!!!!

Hey, that was my colour for the sides I'll have to think of something else Thought you were talking Braun???? Mate, it looks great. I even have some movement downstairs Tell ewe wot Bees Wasn't sure of the silver/grey main colour but it really does look awesome with the Black Goat is now all wired up, had visitors over from Sth Oz so twas an early day & late BBQ all that's left now is the steering in the morn & the carpet Should do a full photo shoot 2morro Guess I want the poofy trailer/float back now so I can wire it up & get it registered cause I'll take the goat down to Sea Sea for the motor buggered if I'm going to try & lift it on, besides I wont be able to get it past the goat not enough room And yep I'm still going with the Braun colour scheme on mine but come up with a different garfushy this time, allready cutout the stencils

Just a quickie, for my rod holders I use my baitcaster on I had to drill a large hole in them to take the trigger grip on my rod, do the rods that will be going in them have triggers on them? I dont use pistol grips exwpt when lure casting & dont need rod holders for that I saw similar rod holders on a fishing show & kinda aped them. Wot I did on these was weld a piece of 25 mm solid round as the base I them drilled down the centre & taped the hole to a M 10 thread, a bolt will screw up into that thread & that's wot will give a 360 degree rotation unlike the wuns on that show which were fixed -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

Have you made up the sets of colour co-ordinated rods yet?
Two sets would be nice with three rods in each set, 2Kg, 4Kg & 6Kg. Black blanks with silver bindings would look good. You could do it in your spare time easy. -------------------- SEAFARER: Fine as a Fairy's Fart |

No brakes on the trailer mate, what gives?
They right angle fuel fitting on the water separators, did you use any thread sealing tape or goop on them or are they screwed in dry into the taper. I'm remembering the problem Hank had trying to get his to line up on the right angle but you have got them both where you want them. I think you were probably holding your mouth just right when you tightened them up. -------------------- SEAFARER: Fine as a Fairy's Fart |

No need 4 brakes weight of boat is well under requirements
Amazing how velly wittle Alloy weighs, trailer only weighed 280 kg over the weighbridge & it's all made of 6 mm thick alloy think Bees said he weighed the frame itself @ 200 kg so there's 80 kg of axles & fittings I'm pooped & did nut tings today, boys came over & we got the trailer & goat registered so sum time 2morro I'll slip goat on trailer cause 1st ting monday morn It's off to get the motor bolted on. I've prob got a day or so tidying up & she hits the water & I get rid of her. Also took the boys shopping for a sounder & they favour Kungy Fushing so I've got to mount the new down rigger QUOTE They right angle fuel fitting on the water separators, did you use any thread sealing tape or goop on them or are they screwed in dry into the taper Nope no tape just a smear of STAG thread sealer QUOTE I'm remembering the problem Hank He's not Jumpus Jumpus knows wot he's doing & that's why he pissed me off he'd pick my brains for info then ignore it & rave on how he did this & did that The guy was full of SHIT I can understand why as well, he's such a tight arse all that shit has to accumilate sum where & he lets it out through his mouth -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

If you get a chance you should slip the whole rig over a weighbridge just to see.
