Actually I could've gotten away with welding the hull only in there but Frame 9 wont allow me to get it out

j.g if I may ask, why cut the boat down by 1ft it dose not make any scene to me. More than a foot poly closer to 3 feet if you include the extended pod. I would've finished up with a long ugly skinny boat which would've looked out of proportion. Different story if the boat was to be moored cause I could've widened the beam to make it all proportional Plus 7.1 meters is one hell of a boat on trailer, also had to consider existing Horse power -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

No problems glad to help, as I said they would have only been used for cover sheets in our place.

Nope !
No need to, all holes are below floor level & none will be seen, if anything I'll drill them out to a larger size & run the Fuel lines throgh them. Only the transom holes will need plugging up with welding. I've been dead as a doornail last couple of days, came home early today so was in a bit of a mood to post. OK no pics but the whole project has been dismantled & moved out back Set up the Jig late yesterday with failing light which suited the Laser Level cause I could see the laser, chocked up all the legs with packers good slope in concrete slab so up to 10 inch's of packing on one of the legs. Clamped extentions to legs & welded them on this morn after that I machined out water run off slots in the frames where the stringers run through. Bolted everything up, welded in all the stringers, lined up the transom welded that in & called it a day cause of the wind taking away the gas. Have to organise a big tarp to go over the job cause any wind & I'm stuffed. After 2morro I'll be ready to start skinning the project -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

Well How bloody slow am I ?. I am still buggerising around trying to get some plans for the project, and Jumpy's almost finished the damn thing.
Well that will teach me to go away into the wilderness for 3 weeks. Jeeze Jumpy you're not mucking around mate, will try and get down there to have a look see and offer any help I am capable of after the week end. I could bring down my mig if you want a hand to do the long runs etc, it's only 240v but can weld 5mm OK. Tried to ring you today but your mobile was off. -------------------- Frank
