Jumpy. Think you better bring this to Martins attention, that sounds like something that you can't go past. Is it one of the motors from the water damage auctions recently ?. Nope not one of those Just rang him to see what he had left as these wittle hp motors go quick 9.9 yammy prob is that it is a 4 banger & prob be a bit heavy 1 only 6 hp yammy long shaft which wont suit the wittle tinny tinny He does however have a 6 hp johnno s/s not as clean on the outside but said a better unit on the inside where it counts -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

To late ! Bunyip Man has got a 6 hp yammy now Jumpy. Thanks for setting Martin up with a motor. It was starting to worry me that he might have to get one on his travels, which would not have been the ideal situation to be in. I spose Martin would be on his way to Port Stephens now. Boy what an adventure. AAhhhh to be young and have enough money to be able to travel around Australia for 12 months, if only the clock could be turned back a few generations. And after all the time he was here and with the mad dash and rush on the last day, I forgot to give him the tackle box I had here for him, all filled with essential goodies. I was keeping it as a last minute surprise for him, but at the last minute I forgot. This post has been edited by nimrod: Apr 27 2008, 11:41 PM -------------------- Frank

hey poly, thanks for helping me look mate. I haven't had internet for a few days so it's difficult for me to look for myself.
Like I said in the cartopper thread, Jumpy's mate had a nice 6hp yammy that I grabbed. Frank, I'm still in Sydney mate, going to pick up the motor tomorrow (apparently my card has a bloody $500 limit that I didn't know about) and might also get that diesel leak thingie looked at before I head off. So I'll just pretend I didn't read that so it can be a surprise hey haha.. like you haven't done enough already! -------------------- Flying Dutchman.. soon to be fishing my way around Oz. Check http://www.mytb.org/MartinNL for my blog and if you think I'm coming near where you live, let me know!

Has he gone fishing at all? So many questions, so few answers. Anyone know where he is? Has he made it to the Whitsunday coast? Lots of rivers and creeks to explore up there. Just have to watch out for those big water lizards. |
