Mate went out yesterday in a hole of whats left of the lachlan river! She is nearly dry!!!

It was from private property between forbes and condo and they managed 5 COD the best going 19lb!

Unfortunatly didnt have cable to steal the pics off his camera but will get them soon!! Awesome looking Very Healthy Green Might Murray Cod!!!

Ill be there in 3 weeks trying to get one for myself and hope fully the crays will be starting up too!

Buggered if I know what a 19 lb cod looks like but look forward to the pics to get an idea

I know that they are fat buggers so makes it hard to picture how big the fush are

yep.. very fat looking fish!! what was good was it was still that irradesant green. it had not gone white like some of them do!

This is the only pic i have thus far been able to get...

PLEASE Dont start any rubbish about keeping the damn thing cause i have already said that to the guys and they did release some more of similar size. Id Prefer to see It swim! I am going to this secret location in 2 weeks to hopefully get one for myself!

Should add, the bloke holding the Pic is a big boy!

Why would we put you in such a bad situation of asking you to release a fish after you have gutter the fish.

It might be worth knowing that sometimes we go fishing to catch and thus eat fish.
