There are soooooo many big squid around. Last time we went squidding me managed a few over 1.5kg. Bloody huge (and a lot of ink too).

Oh, and a Sgt. baker is still a Sgt. baker. Don't try to sugar coat it. tongue.gif

Jumpy. You're doing well mate, keep up the good work, hopefully will be heading down to Bermi again on Sunday for a couple of days, quick trip and hope I can get out for a fish.
OH BTW those bakers , if you get a big one, from the bumb hole down you get a couple of fillets that don't fry up too badly, try it some time it may surprise you.

Yep the squiddy's seem 2b getting bigger evlly time I go out, have been using wun of the new LOX eggy rods last couple of times out & it makes a big difference esp when it gets down to distance you can throw the lure.

Travelled nth 4 these sqiddy's wun of my old favourite spots & I kid ewes not recall wun season only the squid were twice the size nearly 1 meter in length but never seen them that big again.

Did also come across a humungus dead cuttlefish floating about must've only just died nearly tempted to scoop it up to use as snapper bait
