Me and Stewart went down to a small lake just north of Jervis Bay and got ourselves approx. 6kg of beautiful prawns.
It started off a bit slow as it was run in tide and only picked up a few here and there, Stuart was feeling disappointed and I told him just
wait till the tide changes and starts running out, sure enough true to my word when the tide started running out they came on.
as I said we managed approx. 6 kg and I'm sure if my skills had not dwindled over the years we could have got a lot more,
still very pleased with the results and will be going down there again.

Good one Frank. You still need to come out and clamber over some rocks and toss in a line with a float on it. A kind man gave me a bunch of floats a few months back, so you can have one or two of them.

Yes Lake Wollumboola there were plenty of dark headed people there and also some fair headed ones, talked to a couple before dark about where to
go for the best prawns and they were very friendly and helpful, they even said to follow them through the bush to get to the spots, but we were too slow
getting our gear ready and had to find our own way through the scrub.
There is a well used path but we decided to take the short cut through the scrub.
I will be going down again next dark of the moon as the prawns were delicious and have plenty of the smaller ones for the next couple of fishing trips.
