Hey guys anyone help me out with this crap.
I got some money to spend with these guys and everytime I try to look at their online shop the site goes around in circles and wants me to join some way out thing I never heard of and try and click onto that to try and join and it just goes back to the start again.
I'm a idiot with computers but how do they expect you to spend your dollars with them if the site don't let you in to see what thay are selling.

http://www.nautek.com.au/main/index.php?op...&Itemid=469

What's this zen cart crap Is it safe or full of virus's it's the only online shop I have ever accessed that has this crap to it before you can buy stuff off them.

I'd buy somewhere else there's no way I'd be bothered jumping through those hoops for them.

it's more like they have not finalized the installation of there shop software. The message makes more sense for the webmaster than for users.

Tell them to fix their shop software

Jack

should have explained better. I have a nautek voucher which can only be spent in a nautek shop.
Can't decide what I want till I can see what they are selling and how much for items they want.
I will phone them tomorrow and see if it can be explained. Just thought someone here might know how to load the shop site.

When I looked at it and read the first couple of lines I thought they wanted ME to download & run a program on MY computer so that I could buy something off them, hence my answer... Run away & buy it elsewhere.
Sorry to mislead you Frank.
It's obviously a message intended for the site admin to setup their own website software to allow people to make purchases on their site.
There's nothing you can do about it other than email and tell them.

Worked it out with them, just have to make up my mind what I want to buy and I have a number to ring the sales manager direct and get V I P treatment.
Think I will get myself another small manual downrigger for the boat at Bermi, will have to make another bomb though.

I seem to remember talking to a Nimrod just a few days ago. He also had a boat at Bermi and thought it would be wise to sell it, as he rarely uses it. Must have been a different Nimrod. laugh.gif poke.gif

That nimrod wouldn't know shit from clay but this nimrod has a $275 birthday present from Fishnet sponsor that he has to spend at that store and do it via mail service so just pick an item and get it sent up.
I can't think of anything else I need for a boat or fishing gear, gotta start getting rid of stuff, not buy more. Might as well have a downrigger on each boat.

2nd thoughts I think I might opt to putting a few dollars towards it and getting a small colour sounder for the bass boat and put it up front so I can keep an eye on the depth for the downrigger while up front using the leckie.
Think free downrigger or nearly free colour sounder is slightly better then a lollypop.

Anyone ever ran 2 transducers off the back of a boat for 2 sounders ? I would space them about 1 metre apart. Any complications ?.

Why dont you run it off the shaft of the lecky? thats what i plan on doing when i install a sounder up front

Tom running the ducer on the leckie shaft would be OK when the mortor is in the water, but when the motor is listed and placed in it's cradle on the front deck there is way too much chance that the ducer would sustain damage, sometimes I bring lecky up in a bit of a hurry so don't want to have to ass about with being careful not to damage transducer, besides a transducer will opperate correctly at it's propper water level and angle etc, on the lecky I adjust length of shaft for different depths etc and the ducer would be in different water levels all the time.
Thanks for the suggestion but it's not an option I would consider.

Yep
Have 2 trannys & sounders on the jumpus

You can space them right next to each other if you like but only use one unit @ a time

Well that's logical thinking, and obvious once it's suggested.
I will be either up front trolling or downrigging, where front sounder would be used OR at the drivers seat where rear console sounder would be used. And probably easier to weld new tranny bracket to existing one rather then welding in new position.

Frank there's a beaut bracket/stand i got from whitworths
A bit hard to explain but you can rotate/offset/tilt sounder where ever you want

In other words sounder can be facing aft one minute then forward the next

Got this setup cause i wanted to use the wittle Fujitsu on both boats so when i purchased this dooberlacky thingy i purchased a extra base

Base on each boat rest of gizmo attached to sounder not expensive either
