Sorry guys I have not been around for a week or so.
Not that anyone would have missed me.
3 days back in hospital and more pills to throw down my throat.
Can't opperate cause they don't think I will come out of it.
If I am going down, I am going down doing things I like to do, I will be going fishing as soon as I can muster the strength to put the boat on the back of the car.
Gotta get a small motor for my Bass boat so I can get to use that before I go.
They tell me I'm not supposed to drive for about 6 weeks, but I aint gonna be sitting on my arse here doing nothing.

Frank.
that's bad news. They gave my dad 6 months after his heart attack. He has had a few more since then. That was 30 yrs ago. He is still driving around and enjoying his 'borrowed' time. Be positive and heal quickly.

Get well soon Frank.... smile.gif

My uncle just had a triple bypass and was told to take it easy for the next 6 weeks also...

so being a heart condition Frank, i would take their advice and just wait until you feel a lot better before trying to take your boat out....

Good luck Frank.
I didnt realise it was so serious when you were up my way.
My dad was told 13 years ago hes only got 6 months. He went out, bought a new car and ran up some other debts thinking he was going to live it up.
Hes still alive and kicking and cursing the doctors cause hes still paying it all off!!!
Hes had about half a dozen heart attacks since.
Honestly, if he ever bumped into the doc i think he will flatten him. He did have a triple by-pass 3 years ago and takes it easy these days.
Be positive mate, dont listen to any of the negative shi7 out there. Rest for now and start living it up in a few weeks when your feeling brand new!!!

You know your own body so do everything within reason there's still alot of good years left in you & I'm not refering to Goodyear tyres either tongue.gif

Sorry to hear Frank... Hope you get back to new.

On a lighter note, Salty's oldman had half a dozen and is still getting around. By my maths, that means you have 3 of those things before you need too worry mate. poke.gif

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and I will try to take notice of what the doctors say, but it's so bamn boring just hanging around.
Might go and sit in my mates tackle shop for a few days, and see if that perks me up a bit.
Either that I I might go to Bermi for a week or so.

GOOD LUCK m8 , and how medical science is advancing you will be back in top form in no time fast.

I lost both my parents 30 plus years ago with that bugger but if they where around now they be still kicking and a screaming , as who would ever think that they would be able to do bypasses , replace the heart and other organs.
As Mum would say to Dad keep the positive spirits up and you will be back in no time running and doing the things that matter most to you.

This is not good to hear but hearing is what we must do.

So take it easy as instructed and when you feel better you will be able to get back to what you have been doing.

Being board is something that we sometimes go through as that is what happens when you have been very busy and then doing nothing. I find that I can read a book or maganize or do some computer stuff. Yes I know this could also be boring.

Boris. I will be driving past your place tomorrow, I am going to Greystaines to pick up a sewing machine I just bought from Ebay.
I have 6 rods to make and got my rod lathe out and motor is clapped, so bought an old machine to get the motor and foot control to adapt to the lathe so I can do some thread work, and shape the grips.
