Anyone know anything about vintage wine and what it might be worth.
I have 1 only bottle Lindamans Auburn burgundy bin 4220 vintage 1972.
This is the very rare 710ml bottle and is in excellent condition throughout
the label may be slightly faded but hard to tell as I can't remember how bright
the colours were back in 1972.
I am going to put it on ebay this week and thought there maybe someone here
that might be able to give me some clue as to how much to start the auction at.
It's not for drinking, this bottle would be for a collector only.

Had a bit of a search on the net. Closest I could find was $80-$100 for a 1968.
Got any fresh stuff? Like bottled in April 2012?
I had a carton of coca cola in the garage and remembered it was there, 3 yrs later. Went to get a can, but found that it had disolved all of the cans and there was a big sticky gum on the concrete. Don't drink coke any more.
Maybe call a vinatge wine cellar (one in Camperdown/Erskineville from memory) and get a rough idea.

I don't touch the stuff yet we have a couple of racks full of old dusty bottles, maybe I'm sitting on a fortune?
Denise loves wine, she drinks it from cardboard boxes.

Well bit of a bummer, I put it on ebay yesterday with start bit at $60 got 7 viewers in first 12 hours then ebay took it off because I didn't have a licquer licence.
I recon the bastard who offered me the $80 for it complained to ebay because he is a dealer.
Don't think I will sell it to him now anyway, so he has shot himself in the foot.

KKW not really worried mate, will just hold onto it for a while longer, one day I will come across someone who will appreciate it.
