Went out this morning for a couple of hours. Swell was reported at 3m, so wasn't expecting to fish. It was fishable, if you kept an eye on the water and were sensible. Another good session with quality fish. Stepped into a hole and skinned my leg, but the worst thing was I got hit by the wash and soaked to the waist. Wet undies!!! The guys I fish with say I am just lucky - must be as there is no skill involved. I quit at 11 fish and four dropped. Rick got 7, John 5 and Bob 2. Not bad for two hours. Gee I must be lucky.
This is the spot we stood. Have to watch the backwash, which is higher than the incoming swell at times. Nice wash going out. Held loads of fish. For you Jedi. They are facing N.S.E and W. Is this a goose? I reckon it is full of shit. |
