sorry jumpus, when asking about noise it is at W.O.T. were they seem to be at there worst and as for fuel you may be best putting 40 or 50 hours on it to loosen it up a bit and get a good average for a days fishing.

You thinking about an upgrade Poly? yep when i retire Fed, a 5.3 cc with either a 100 or 115hp 4stroke, if I can afford it that is. http://www.polycraft.com.au/530_centre_console.php the other chose would be a 4.8 cc with an 80 or 75hp only time will tell Paul -------------------- bugger it's sold, got meself a house instead

Saw wun of them today If ewe know any crims I can get the address 4 ewe why wait till ewe retire that's easy mate to much money sitting on the lawn going no were and not getting used enough. if I am luck i may get the boat down the coast once every 3 months, so I content myself fishing the lake here. the buggers wont let me use the yammy so its all done with the lecky, and a 5.3 would be to big to fish here in Canberra -------------------- bugger it's sold, got meself a house instead

Yep white hide's a lot, but its not much fun, I like the yellow its very easy to look after if i do scratch it up, all I need do is get the heat gun out and worm up the damaged part of the hull give it a quick rub and its as good as new, and as for looking like plastic who cares it is plastic.

I was out @ a mates workshop 2day using the press
When I got back I discovered I had 4 Shinny Heads, 3 more than Fed My Yamms were stripped & all was GooDarus but like I said better to have a looky. There's sacrificial anodes inside the Yam heads & nothing was left of them or velly little so guess it was a wise move to rip them off. My blocks are still clean as & was told the model B4 my Yams had a bit of a corrosion issue cause the annodes used in previous models wasn't doing their job & instead of the anodes sacrificing themselves twas the block that started corroding. Still going to send the injectors out etc etc so prob next week B4 goat is back on the water -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

I have no idea if the 40 has them or not but I will be finding out. Paul Yep Yep ewe'll have them & cause is the later model motor ewe'll have the decent anodes if I remember the camera 2morro I''l take a pic of them Happy that all's well in the donks now just have to nut out why I'm losing revs up top, have a funny feeling the fuel canister in motor that's playing up has got contamination in it. Open them up 2morro & have a looky -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |
