Mentioned it in a different thread a while back
Was out visiting today & ended up going home with another brurry reel This is wun off the samples & not the colours of the reels on order Below is a link to the reels specs but as ewes can see from my pic there's been a few changes like the handle but more importantly the Drag We played around with the drag a few months back & dumped the original drag system opting for graphite washers & instead of the original quantity which I can recal there's now 9 washers. Also after Jumpus would not stop nagging the spools now have a bigger line capacity not as much as i would've liked but still alot better than the original & more than enough to chase Kungs with. I have been using the CD's for sum time now in the small size's & can vouch they are smooth & they only have the standard drag system these CD7000's even have 2 sealed bearing in the drag system configuration http://www.viva.com.cn/fish-reel-cd-en.htm

You got most of it right, except there is 10 washers...
Viva's factory is like cake for a fat kid... Guys, the gear that they have are bringing out is 1st class at affordable prices... Enough said, if you get the chance to have a look at one of the stores selling the gear, you wont be dissapointed... And you will save -------------------- Don't hate me, cause you ain't me... :)

Could've sworn Bees let out @ least 7 litres of pissings Fed No ! Threadline reels dont have a ratchet nor do proper baitcasters QUOTE J.G. i am in the market for a bait caster have they got any worth taking a look at must be of high quilty with at least 4 bearing's and a floating spool with a very good drag will be used with a 10kg rod for the big cod we get here in the lake. Tis not a bait caster ewe R after poly , bait casters are used predomantly for lure casting & as I said earlier they do NOT have a ratchet which I believe you'd need for bait fushing the COD. I get to pull apart the new reels when the samples come in to have a looky cause none of the guys are game enough Mind ewe I've taugh the yung fellow there how to pull them apart & service them & he's become velly good @ it as well 12 months ago I did pull apart viva's bait caster thought the drag was a bit jerky {then again my chronach goes jerky as well & it's 4 x's the price] but overall not a bad wittle reel for the $$'s ewe pay for wun this is their bait caster [blue wun is in oz @ present I do have wun but haven't used it yet ] http://www.viva.com.cn/fish-reel-ba-en.htm Having no idea how ewe fush for COD Wun of these may suit your needs I've got wun [ the 6 : 1 ratio model yet to use it] you'd be wooking @ the 4 : 1 model] They're marketed under the Browning name over here & if not mistaken only Complete angler stores have them http://www.viva.com.cn/fish-reel-hc-en.htm -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

BEES
You did "WHAT" to the tank? What's the old saying: if I knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake! or at least thrown on a batch of scones. Jumpus Do you know of any bait runners that let you know when the bait is being 'nibbled' at? Sorry we missed you. |

the thing with cod is you need to be very accurate with your casts, Paul Know exactly wot ewe mean. Personately I'm alot more deadly accurate with a baot caster in my hands than a threadline but I dont run 10 kg line through my bait castors. poly the viva reel uses the felt washers from memory that's why I found drag a wittle jerky not much just enough to catch my attention so I pulled it apart to have a look inside a good clean & it was running very smooth afterwards. Wot ewe have to bear in mind is that reels are mass produced & the care you'd personally give to assembling wun is not there QUOTE How can a little fishing rod cost $1,000? It's ridiculous Fed but there's irriots out there who'd pay it just to say I've got wun Dont get me wrong tis a velly nice rod caught my eye right away so I pulled it off the rack to have a play around The rod in Q is an original Megabass but when it lands here it'll be more or less identical for a fraction of the cost No different to wot happened with viva's LOX rods when they copied the Nitro None left from the 1st shipment all sold out they've become very popular -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |
