Hi Guys,

I though I would give this guy a plug for doing the decals on my boat.

His workmanship is fantastic and the decals turned out great!

Andrew is very easy to deal with great communications, fast and very accommodating in what I wanted ... I am very happy with his product!

The decals are UV stabilised thick vinyl so they will last years with out any issues.... being a Sydney based company you can be assured of quick delivery and buying a locally produced product.

Anyway here is his website www.Hotcarstuff.com.au

and the boat/fishing decals are http://www.hotcarstuff.com.au/store/index....oat-decals.html

OH yeah if you buy or order decals please mention A Pirate recommended you and you may get a discount.
Andy

Im not a fan of applying paint to a vessel unless the whole boat is painted like yours JG...so the next best thing is decals.

As you can see no bubbles at all....time was taken to prepare the boat, the decals and applying them.

Yeah Andrew had to apply both layers together then attach them to the top application layer all with out bubbles!

Im impressed and think they look great.

Yep ewe can get the material in 5 or 9 year UV rating

I made my own for my Yammy's & used the 9 year

Another wittle twick if ewe want decals to last & look spoofier is to spray sum 2 pack clear over them

This also makes it easier to wash down as well & if they start wooking a bit not so newy

a quick buff will bring them up like new

How much did they cost Pirate?

I saw on the net somewhere the other day a thread where some guy had his boat stolen, anyway he had full size graphic skins on it, looked fantasic but I bet they cost a lot.

the one thing I don't like about the poly is the fact that its hard to get anything to stick, rego numbers have to be replaced quite often as the dam things just fall off even the polycraft stickers have to be replaced from time to time and they have a special glue.

Well even owning the worlds best boat has its problems hysterical.gif hysterical.gif hysterical.gif hysterical.gif hysterical.gif

i was the test mule so i cant say how much but i was told he will be competitive to the ones on ebay and better quality.

It also comes down to do you want 1 or 2 colours, what size and shape will all add to the cost.
