Jumpy,
What are you using to flatten/linish welds? e.g. where you joined the sheets at the front and I guess the length of the reverse chines. What material are you going to for the fuel tanks? Are you going to set up the same flush system again? And to the others I am not stirring FED, but I am sure he visits the site and wants to know. Also did you end up buying a pull gun or a standard mig gun? For those that don't weld a standard mig gun pushes the aluminium wire which is soft and therefore most welders limit the gun lead to 3 metres. A pull gun has a small motor at the gun which helps pull the wire and most are 8 metres which means you don't have to move the mig power source around as much. Good write up and pictures. I know I know, I need to finish off that handrail, hopefully this week. -------------------- Don't tell anybody but my name is Fushin Freddie

Jumpy, What are you using to flatten/linish welds? Just a 5" grinder to take off any heavy buildup then I just run a Zirconian disk over the area Haven't had to do any grinding yet but I do have a 6 speed 3phase polisher @ my disposal can run anything from flap wheels to tungsen bits in it -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

Keep 4geting to take the camera poly I walk out of here still 1/2 asleep in the mornings
Not alot has been done to the boat itself since tuesday as it was pissing down for a few days so I worked indoors finishing seat box's kill tank & fuel tanks etc. Did fit up the fuel tanks to the boat today Withthe rainy days I also started glassing up all the underfloor flotation & that is a very time consuming task. I'll go leave the camera with my keys so I dont 4get it -------------------- Save The Fish, Eat a Pussy |

thanks mate, it may not sound to interesting what you have been doing, but its all part of the overall job and to be able to read how it all goes together is of interest at least to me and i would think to a lot of others.
i would think that coming home after a hard day it is difficult to add to the thread so i will try not to hound you to much for up dates -------------------- bugger it's sold, got meself a house instead
