You're not wrong mate, I have enough of these bloody cold winds and freezing nights and mornings.
I have had a sniffley runny nose for 7 weeks, never before have I suffered a winter like this.
Got my electricity bill the other day $ 794 highest bill of all time, usually winter bill is around $500
and I have a combustion fire as well so most of the heating has been done with about 3 tonns of wood this year compared to about 1 1/2 tonns.
I am going to Queensland tomorrow for 3 weeks so by the time I get back, it should be starting to get into good tempretures.

Frank it gets bloody cold up in Queensland as well
Dont believe the Porky's they tell you in the TV adds either.
A few times I've thought I'd taken the wrong plane to Melbourne

I actually dont mind the cold it's the HEAT THAT GETS TO ME

The fishing really starts to hot up with the colder weather after most have hung up the fishing gear.

Personally I've had a shitty winter fishing wise exept my trips out after the YFT the old crones stuffed me up, but if you go back to last years fishing reports that I did you wont find any shortage of fishy's being caught

More people will go fishing during the summer months as they are better equip with the summer months and not the winter months.



I have just come back from Lismore and it is already hot up there. I was just wearing shorts and t-shirt during the day. And even during the evening / evening it was milder then down in Sydney.

Love the cold, don't mind a bit of rain....Always enjoyed winter as few venture out so theres more fish for those that do, the idiots are also very few and far between just out joyriding or hob nobbing in their wanky tosser boats! Summer means very early starts or overnighters to avoid the pests!

theres something about getting up at 4 in the morning ... going to the boat ramp ... and there are all other boat around lauching .... and the smell of the 2 stroke ... andd 1000 otherr things ... and landing a big snapper at 5 in the morning , all other boats around lol theres something about summer lol .... and i lovee it !! cantt waitt
