George. My computer won't play videos. I can bring up youtube and it lets me select a video but when it starts to play the
screen goes black and a error message appears. Been a couple of days now so I don't think it's the youtube site.
Is there any easy solution ?.
Is it only you tube as it sounds like a codec problems and what program are you using.
Try a dvd to test v/card performance , but I,m thinking its an update error but would need to look at it.
Eg Mozilla have a new update that won't allow selected adobe flash vc to play unless you have the latest player installed as the class it as a vunerable entrance for hackers.
That is weird sounds like a driver problems if all is working fine with the exception of videos , have you update anything of late.
also are you using Mozilla as it has had a lot of problems of late with adobe flash player driver which plays all those.
who do you test speed with.
I use https://www.ozspeedtest.com/bandwidth-test/optus-speed-test/1/
Not a codec prob
Youtube uses flash player you may have an old version which is not compatible anymore
True Jumpy and Abode flashplayer has been outlawed by Mozilla if your using below version 22 as the found it had vulnerabilities
