caught some fish then come home ahahaha ,,we got there on sunday about lunch time ,i had too set up camp before the missus would let me go and play ,i went for a run around the dam just to check things out ,on monday i took the kids for a fish ,got nuffin ,but they had fun ,so we went for a run down towards the wall ,about 3/4 of the way down there the motor screamed in agony and the boat stopped ,the first thing i thought was the shear pin ,i let it idle down then it engaged again so we limped home ,when we got back i took off the prop and no the pin was ok ,so i then dropped off the bottom housing and it was ok ,being an old hanimex air cooled motor it is like a mower engine on top that just unbolts off and there it was ,,they have a high tensile spring that grabs at a certain revs and it was snapped in 2 peices ,so i took it up and lined up for the guys to just weld it as one peice ,we got it back on tuesday i put the motor back together and away she went ,tuesday arvo we all jumped in and went for a blat across the dam thnkin we might pick up a few fish on dark ,within 5 minutes of being there it blew up a gale ,the waves were about 2 ft high and in my tinny with the tribe and gear and old motor thats not good ,we finally got back and after every one got soaked and the kids stopped cryin we were ok ,i woke up about 2am wednesday morning still with this bloody tooth ache so i though till set a couple of rods with wood grubs ,i woke up about 7.30 and wound up the rods and got 1 yellow belly and 1 cod, but the cod was only about 30 cms so back she went ,the yellowbelly was 37 so in the esky she went for dinner ,,,hahaha,,, illpost some more soon ,,haahahh
