JG just though you'd like to know that on Monday I went out with some guys on Ambition and we got three YFT, one 10kg and two 30kg and three albies all around 8kg. I also lost a YFT around the 30kg mark under the boat after a long fight on my 10kg spin stick - I was jigging a small (120g) metal jig in hope of an albie.
Also a few days ago one boat reportedly caught 8 YFT all around the 30kg mark.
This is all east of Brown's BTW. We drifted for quite a while eastwards and all the action happened after 4pm or so. The fish were hooked on an assortment of cubes, livies and jigs.

Yep there's a few out there & have been for the past week or so, have been getting reports off the few boats who've been getting out.
Reason for there sudden appearance is some good water finally pushed in from out wide wide a week agoI got a looky @ the live SST charts back then b4 the winds blew up & ewe couldn't get out.
Good chance I'll be out 2morro & go have a stickybeak @ the current SSTY charts today if they're available depending on the cloud cover saterlite cant penetrate the cloud cover
Yep the site is still playing up with posts going where they shouldn't be going
