Yep, first Luderick on a lure...technically I'm right!
Was going for whiting on poppers but the wind made the surface too choppy. So went with diving lures. Heaps of hits and takes, but no really solid hook ups. Fished around the entrance due to the rain flodding the lower reaches with freshwater. Closest I got to a whiting was bringing a few to my feet before the hooks were thrown or pulled. At least they're there and if you can get there with no wind i.e. early morning then you'll be in for a shot. There are a few prawns running around so that's a plus too.
Keen to give it another shot.

Hmmmmmm have you tried sp's on those Majed with the weather being pretty lousy might pay to trya 2inch grub in there.
Every SP I threw out was torn to shreds in about two seconds by toadies.
