Fishing oz style _ Fishing Reports _ This Arvo's Bream Fush

Posted by: Jumpus GooDarus Mar 29 2008, 02:56 AM

A few of those 3 kg rods I'd built of late were for the boss's & they were eager to have a play with their new toys so a afternoon fish was organised yesterday for today.

I was supposed to have gone to lunch with them 1st but I had a few things to do & couldn't make it so the boys brought lunch to Jumpus unlike somebody I know who eats all my food & gives me stress fractures which he calls wrinkles laugh.gif laugh.gif

And boy didn't I enjoy my lunch Pee King Duck , Roast Pork & My favourite Prawn Dumplings

YUM YUM & more YUM YUM tongue.gif

Anyways got out there around 2.30 pm me tinks fushing was a bit on the slow side I hadn't fushing this spot for ages heaps of under sized snapper got sick of catching those.

On a brighter note the Brims came & went as they generally do there in waves the boys loved the rods & it looks like they're going to be duplicated & go on sale

Arvo's keep of fish which I might add I was surprised only one blurter had a good burley trail going started getting bitten off by tailor & called it a day.

Oh for the record the biggest Bream in pic went 36 cm's

Jumpy,

Funny to so you with a catch, must have been your visitors. Chinese looks damn tastier than raw fish laugh.gif

I assume those rods you built for them were long butts ones?
If so have they converted to putting the butt ubder their arm?

Looks like most have been fishing this weekend already and to those that have not, the fish are biting just not huge ones. Caught a nice flounder today which I gave to the boat owner otherwise he would have lived to see another day.

Yep Yep !

Also gave them the idea to option that rod with a seperate detachable shorter butt so as it could also be used as a spin stick very easily done.

Hey Jumpus

Bet you didn't know that that was pussy you were eating from one of those boxes? Looks like your call sign fianally came to pass.

Never mind mate, a bit of sweet and sour and you never know the difference.

And what happened to the call that I was supposed to get when you came in? I gave up dinner with Elle Mc Pherson and Britney Spears waiting for you. mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif

Anyway, next time I will bring the food just to shut you up. Now what is it you like?

Cheers biggrin.gif
