Well for those of you who are not on Facebook or havnt been in touch its been a HECTIC few months.. I left my job at the mine at the end of 2015 and have moved into my house at Sanctuary Point. Man its been crazy! Have been doing some fishing, boating days with the kids, getting the house sorted and about to go back to work... Here is a bit of a picture story!!
Have been out with a few mates catching some Marlin, and even caught a few from my own boat now.. Been good, especially when all the master can catch is pretend marlin... (just getting my own back after his years of putting shit on me! I do actually appreciate all the help he has given me!
Getting a concrete driveway put in for the boat to park on..
Fun with kids in the boat!
FARKING DODGY TRADESMAN..
lucky i was checking on em. bastards were gonna make the driveway almost 500mm to narrow and only 300mm wide.. had to show them how to measure it to make it wide enough for the boat trailer and make the tracks 600mm wide each.
How's the new job spud, did you start the fish & chip shop?
Good action pics BTW.
Thought I might catch up with the Rumpus in Huskisson yesterday, but he must have heard I was down there and took his boat out in the bay, so that I couldn't drop in. I was looking forward to a nice BBQ as well.
Klaus You should have gone and Caught one of those big Flathead
in the Impoundment
Yeah. Not as many there as there were 20 yrs back. It is all silted, smelly, plastic and garbage floating around and shallower. I remember tossing a ball of bread to smack on the surface, and 80cm flathead exploding off the bottom to slam it. Gave me a lesson on how fast they can attack bait. The White Sands Festival was on and it was wall to wall people down there. Had to wait over an hour to get lunch at the pub.
Yes Mate I forgot about all the Terrorists that turn up at Easter, It was Great 50yrs ago, you should have gone to the RSL for Lunch. It was a beautify part of the Country Once.
