Yes peeps it's here
Haven't been fushing a great deal of late & had 4gotten all about it
Even missed a warning sign last wednesday when i saw Shinny Head towing the Seafairy the other way down the m5 laugh.gif

2 crackers 2day in under 2 minutes @ the ramp
1st was when i pulled up @ wharf was tie'n up mini me when i heard a smelly noisy 2 stroke reving it's arse off.

Boat was tied off to wharf guy undid rope started motor hadn't released dooberlacky thingy that holds motor up, boat had a flip up bait board which was still flipped up obscuring guys sight to motor.
Boat was drifting into break wall arse 1st with prop spining 100 mph dont know if he had a prop left after that ordeal cause i was on the other side walking up to get car.

When sum ting caught my eye

300 meters up the ramp

Don't wonder at her catching your eye , she looks like a real cutie..

I see someone parked their boat in rather a strange fashion as well.

How do you think that boat finished up on the ground Jumpy?

I did launch from Forshore last week, wasn't overly impressed with the ramp.
I wouldn't like to see it on the weekend with a strong NE wind blowing and low tide, it's pretty steep & slippery.
What did surprise me was the amount of trailers there don't these people have jobs to go to?

Posted by: Rumpus Oct 22 2011, 06:03 PM

seen one down at murrays beach a few weeks back, husband reversed trailer in and wife tryed under husbands direction to rive a 5m cuddy/tinny onto a non drive on trailer.. got halfway up and husband yells out to give it a bit more... result was husband diving for cover and boat ending up shooting up and off to the right of the trailer and landing on the ramp...

Good guess they'd trailered the boat did not strap it down, no safety chain & left winch in free spool,
came to the bend hit the brakes & boat flew off.

Duck Flakka was out there yesterday saw him coming & i ran away he couldn't ketch me mine is bigger & blacker than his

And it gets more chicks laugh.gif laugh.gif

He's hiding wonder if he goosed anything back @ the ramp, mind ewes his rig is idiot proof

Bay was deed for kungs did get a few outside Duckman, lost the 1st wun been that long since i fushed thinks me 4got how laugh.gif
Didn't check the backed off drag setting easy for the fish to take me down.

Looked a nice day yesterday so snuck out again, not going to believe it spent 4 odd hrs without one single touch on squid grounds they just shut down no divers or spearo's to spook them either.

Luckily i packed 4 frozen squids b4 leaving home converted those into 7 girlys b4 running out of them over @ that place you asked me about so thought i'd check it out to see if it held any squids.

Wouldn't believe it 1st 2 casts 2 squids laugh.gif
Got a few more after that & back to the girls

Awesome mate.. Were the squid around the corner, in that spot?

Posted by: kkw Oct 23 2011, 09:14 PM

Is that the mythical spot? G I think I found it once. biggrin.gif I caught squid up at Seisia last month. Would have been proud of me. I grabbed it without squealing like a girl. It did ink my foot though, and it was a pain to wash off.
I thought reel men didn't fish for Kingfish??? Or is that, they don't jig for kingfish?

What spot laugh.gif

That whole cove looked goodarus, never thought to give it a go b4, whole area is no deeper than 9 meter & has rises which are easy to pick if swell is rolling over them like yesterday that's where i found the squids.

Reckon it'd be a great spot winter time when westerlies are blowing wind wont effect drift much @ all.

Water was alot dirtier yesterday may be reasonsquids weren't on the chew @ udder spot would like to run over new spot on a clean water day to chech out kelp beds.

Could barely make them out yesterday which made it hard to know where to cast to.

That was the spot i hit once last year & brained the girls knew it from my land based days

Know exactly where your talking now... Its where we lost that one... I was sounding some good fish there, just needed them to bite biggrin.gif
